About Maui
Scores of visitors (about 2.5 million) visit Maui each year, attracted in part by the 33 miles of public beaches, one of the world’s biggest dormant volcanoes and the agreeable subtropical climate. Some of the most recommended areas to stay are along the west coasts in Kaanapali, Lahaini and Kahana. Despite the large amount of hotel and condominium development in the last 25 years, over 75% of the island remains untouched and offers exotic, lush terrain for explorers and nature enthusiasts.
