Cheap Flights to Boston

This New England city has the moniker of "BeanTown", because beans baked in molasses has been a favorite Boston dish since the colonial times, is one of the oldest cities in America. Founded over 370 years ago this eastern Atlantic city boasts such heroes as John and Samuel Adams, John Hancock, Paul Revere and John F. Kennedy. Boston is a very compact city, whose many, beautiful landmarks and attractions can be seen easily by foot. Across the Carles River is Cambridge, home to Harvard and MIT, and whose many students, professors and researchers have made it a haven for brilliant minds and ideas.

Charles Street: Located in the Beacon Hill area, this strip has loads of antique shops, bookstores and cafes, all with the colonial feel and design.

State House: (Beacon Hill) A must-see neoclassical State House on Beacon St. between Hancock and Bowdoin St. Free tours.

Boston Tea Party Ship and Museum: (Downtown Boston) Board the Beaver II, which is a replica of one of the ships that tea was dumped off in protest of stiff British taxation.

USS Constitution: (Charlestown) Also known as, "Old Ironsides", this retired war ship is docked at the Charlestown Navy Yard. First launched in 1797, it went on to never lose a sea battle.

Fenway Park: (The Fenway) Built in 1912, this ballpark is the oldest in Major League Baseball. Known, for having the "Green Monster" (a 30 foot tall wall in left field) and for being home to the the Red Sox and the illustrious careers of Ted Williams, Carl Yastremski and, before he was prematurely purchased by the New York Yankees, Babe Ruth.
