Cheap Flights to Los Angeles

With over 450 square miles of desert, mountains and beaches containing over 3 million people, Los Angeles couldn't be experienced during a 30 day weekend, let alone a 3 day one, but it's a fun trying to!

Santa Monica Pier & 3rd St. Promenade: (Santa Monica) Located two blocks from each other, "The Promenade" is a cool outdoor shopping and people watching experience and "The Pier" has great ocean views, carnival rides...and you can even fish off of it!

Venice Boardwalk: (Venice) Located 3 miles south of "The Pier", this spot has "Muscle Beach", legendary basketball courts, street performers, sidewalk vendors, starving artists and musicians, reggae rastas, scantily clad beach goers, hippies, a skate park, a mural of Jim Morrision, a famous guy on roller skates wearing a turban and playing the guitar, etc.

The Getty Center: (Brentwood) Renown and rare paintings, drawings, sculptures, manuscripts and photographs. A tram transports visitors up to the museum atop the Santa Mountains. On clear days, especially the day after a rain, the sunsets are priceless.

La Brea Tar Pits: (Mid City) Can you believe that a historic archeological site rests right in the middle of LA! And you thought everything there was phony! Little did you know that 40,000 years ago, Mastadons and Saber-Tooth's became trapped and subsequently preserved in tar pits here. See it for yourself.

LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art): Immense and cherished collection of American Art, Chinese and Korean Art, Ancient and Islamic Art, Costume and Textiles, European Painting and sculpture, South and Southeast Asian Art, Modern and Contemporary Art and Japanese Art, including visiting exhibitions coming through year round.
